Humane Education

  • Representatives from the Shelter are available to offer programs, lectures and/or visitations at schools, daycare centers and adult facilities. Our curricula are administered by volunteers and staff employees, and can range from animal safety, to cruelty and neglect awareness, to question-and answer sessions geared toward younger grade levels. The program administrators are knowledgeable and versatile to meet your organizational or personal needs.

Many of these programs can be accompanied by hands-on participation by the attendees holding a charity drive to help the homeless animals at the Shelter. These programs are one of the most symbiotic relationships we can have with our community, and they never disappoint. If you would like to request a visit from Shelter personnel at your facility, or you have an idea for a program or service for which we could provide educational assistance, please contact us to let us know!
